As long as the ingredients are made from real food with no nasties, there are so many delectable treats that can be whipped up. And one of those things is Healthy ‘Paleo Inspired’ Bread! It’s completely free of gluten, grains, dairy and refined sugar! 

Afternoon tea. Sorted.

You know when have those days when you get a phone call from a friend. “Hey, what are you up to?” they say – to which you’ll respond: “Nothing much”.
“Perfect” they reply! “I’m coming over! See you soon!”.

So what do you do when this happens? Bake our amazingly yummy Paleo Apple, Pear and Cinnamon loaf! It takes less than an hour to make, so it’s perfect for when you have those unexpected guests turn up and you need to whip something up fast! Just mix all the ingredients in a bowl, put into a baking tray and put into the oven!

The combination of sweet cooked fruit with the almighty cinnamon spice delivers a party in your mouth!

Paleo Apple, Pear & Cinnamon Loaf

Ingredients
  1. 1 apple chopped (or grated)
  2. 1 pear chopped (or grated)
  3. 2 cups almond meal
  4. 1/2 cup coconut oil
  5. 2 eggs
  6. 1 teaspoon vanilla paste or vanilla extract
  7. 1/4 cup sweetener
  8. 2 tsp cinnamon or 1 drop cinnamon essential oil
Instructions
  1. Pre heat oven to 180 degrees and line loaf tray with baking paper
  2. Mix all ingredients together in a bowl. Make sure it is mixed well.
  3. Pour mixture into loaf dish
  4. Bake for 45 minutes in the oven or until golden brown on top
  5. Allow to cool fully before taking out of tray
  6. You can serve each slice with delish grass-fed butter (if you can tolerate it) or your fave nut butter
Notes
  1. Do you looooovvve cinnamon as much as we do? Add an extra teaspoon for that yummy cinnamon hit! OR try using the Cinnamon Essential oil ... it packs a punch!
  2. Toast this baby under the grill and top it with butter … the butter will melt and you will go to Paleo bread heaven!
  3. You can slice the loaf up and freeze in two piece portions for portion control!
  4. You can swap almond meal for LSA meal
  5. Add extra sweetener if you have that sweet tooth
